The facility has 2 processing plants that produce multiple industrial minerals including dolomite, calcium carbonate and quartzite. The current project entails developing a new processing line using a state of the art system that will allow them to process new ore grades they could not otherwise process due to the size of the ore. The new project will utilize a Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) crushing system in which the shaft and crushing chamber are in a vertical position, which is the latest crushing technology. The new system will crush material in a more efficient manner allowing for single-pass reduction of larger sized raw products with greater reduction ratios than other methods. The business projects that the investment will allow them to create new products, increase revenues and create new full-time jobs.
