Indigenous Women In Business Network Project

Community Futures Development Corporation of North & Central Hastings and South Algonquin (CFDC) has partnered with Kijicho Manito Madouskarini Algonquin First Nation to launch a pilot project that will develop an indigenous business women's network and provide the support, training and resources required to create, nurture and grow small business opportunities. 

The project commenced on August 2, 2019 and will be supported until March 31, 2023. 
Through this project the CFDC & Kijicho Manito Madouskarini Algonquin First Nation will work together to identify existing and potential businesses & entrepreneurs, provide training and create a network of resources to support entrepreneurs in all stages of business.

The project's goal is to empower & support indigenous women to become economic development leaders in their communities.
